Roots

Description

Roots is a meditation on lineage and difference. A woman crowned in a purple headtie carries two girls, one marked by vitiligo, the other by freckles. Their presence symbolizes how beauty emerges from diversity, how heritage and individuality coexist. This piece reflects my ongoing dialogue about Black identity and the ways women’s bodies hold both struggle and strength.
